Last time, nobody knew who my little homeless girl was. Now, Copper Daniels has fans! Readers who know and love her like I have ever since I first heard her whispering to me in that cemetery years ago.
Here’s the Scoop
My launch team will be on Facebook. I’m calling it – Marcy’s Inner Circle (like the Inner Sanctum, only it’s not).
Yes, I’m mad at Mark Zuckerburg for allowing online trolls to meddle with America’s politics, but I’ve been on other online instant messaging platforms (e.g. Slack). They’re much harder to maneuver. You can’t easily see who posts where to reply, or reread old posts and threads. Plus, they’re expensive. I don’t mind spending money if something works, but for now – Facebook it is. If you’re not on FB, or are too angry at them, I respect that.
Expectations – Marcy’s Inner Circle
- Be a fan of Marcy’s books (or be willing to read her novels & become a fan).
- Read advance copies of said books.
- If you’re so inclined, post honest reviews of said books.
- Cheer Marcy on as she continues to write other books.
Pledge your undying loyalty to Marcy.
Easy-peasy.
Normally, I’ll distribute advance copies of my books long before my launch, but this will be a shorter turnaround. Still, I don’t want to interfere with anyone’s celebration of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa. I think it’s super cool that I have readers from all traditions, and want everyone to focus on their families and the holidays.
I realize my launch team may not get Bones and Lies read in December, and that’s okay. Just do the best you can.
WARNING: Do NOT join my Facebook group if you’re looking to score lots of free books from me. You’ll be sorely disappointed since it took FIVE YEARS to complete Book #2.
I’ll post in Marcy’s Inner Circle a few times per week. NOT 20 times a day bugging you, asking you to do MARCY STUFF 24/7. I don’t have time to be spammy like that + it’s not how I roll. 🙂
